The working principle of our urine iodine detector is based on the national standard method, using a new combination formula to achieve complete cold digestion of organic substances such as urine through redox reactions. Realized the online fully automatic detection of iodine element in the equipment.

For accurate control of urine iodine detection results, the national standard method uses ammonium persulfate solution to thermally digest urine samples at 100 ℃, utilizing the catalytic effect of iodine on arsenic cerium redox reaction: H₃AsO₃+2Ce ⁴⁺+H₂0 →H₃AsO₄+2Ce³⁺+2H⁺

In the reaction, yellowCe ⁴⁺is reduced to colorless Ce³⁺. Measure the absorbance value of the remaining Ce4+in the system to determine the iodine content.

Our iodine detection method adopts a new colorimetric reaction method, which does not control the termination of the reaction, but uses a dedicated indicator to allow it to react to the control point, and uses the system to accurately calculate and confirm the reaction endpoint. Make the detection endpoint time precise to the microsecond level. In the detection of iodine element, due to the sensitivity to temperature and the narrow range of manual detection, we use the complex calculation function in the computer system to adopt a new calculation and compensation method, making the detection range wider and the detection results more accurate.
